Living the Answer Class Policies

Please read these policies carefully and check the box at the end if you understand and agree.

• North Carolina law states that homeschooled students must receive academic instruction in core curriculum subjects ("traditionally... language arts, math, science and social studies," according to the NC DNPE) from a member of the household holding at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Living the Answer classes are intended to supplement this core academic instruction.
• Living the Answer reserves the right to expel any student from Living the Answer classes at the instructor’s discretion, either permanently or temporarily, should this become necessary to maintain order or respect in the classroom. This right will only be exercised if other reasonable efforts have failed. Should a student be expelled, a prorated refund will be provided.
• Living the Answer is not liable for any illness or injury incurred by a student during the normal conduct of class, unless such injury is the result of negligence by the instructor.
• If the total amount owed for the class(es) is $100 or less, full tuition must be received no later than the first day of class. If you owe more than $100, full payment may be made by the first day of class, or half of the tuition may be paid by the first day of class, with the remainder payable no more than six weeks after the first day of class.
• Payment by mail is by check only. For non-online classes, payment may be cash or check. Checks can be mailed to Living the Answer, PO Box 5971, Concord NC 28027, payable to "David Vogel" or "Living the Answer." Please include a note with your child's name and the classes registered for, so we know to whose account the payment applies.
• For non-online classes, an additional $5 per student gratuity will be collected on behalf of our host facility to defray miscellaneous costs associated with our presence. (Policies last updated 02/02/12.)
