“Not to engage in the pursuit of ideas is to live like ants instead of like men.”

~ Mortimer Adler

“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”

~ C.S. Lewis

“The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried.”

~ G.K. Chesterton

“If [the gospel] is dull, then what, in Heaven's name, is worthy to be called exciting? The people who hanged Christ never, to do them justice, accused him of being a bore-- on the contrary, they thought him too dynamic to be safe.”

~ Dorothy Sayers

Locations and Schedules

Founded in 2007, Living the Answer LLC offers a variety of classes for homeschool families. Ranging from philosophy and economics to essay writing and public speaking, the unifying theme in our classes is a desire to encourage students to love learning, to think well about difficult subjects, and to do it to the glory of God.

Living the Answer classes are one to two hours long and are usually offered weekly. Depending on the class, students may meet for eight weeks, sixteen weeks (semester), or thirty-two weeks (school year). If you live in central North Carolina and there are no classes offered nearby, please don't hesitate to ; there's a good chance we can schedule something in your area sometime in the future.

Payment Information

The tuition cost is listed with each class description. A nonrefundable 20 percent deposit is required for all registrations for Living the Answer classes. Registrations are not complete until the deposit is received. Payment may be made by check (PO Box 2833, Indian Trail, NC 28079) or electronic bank deposit through the Intuit Payment Network (a secure payment system from the makers of QuickBooks). The remaining payment is due on the first day of class if the total due is less than $250. For payments over $250, half is due by the first day of class and the remainder no more than six weeks later.

In addition to the class tuition, we may collect a per student courtesy charge on behalf of the facility, to help defray electrical and other costs. If charged at all, this is typically $5, though it may vary depending on the location. Check the information for your specific location to learn more.

For families with multiple children taking classes at the same time, Living the Answer offers a 20 percent discount off tuition for the second and subsequent students. (Example: If you have one child taking a $99 class and one taking a $179 class, the $99 class would be discounted by 20 percent to $79, so your total cost would be $258. If you have three children taking $179 classes, two of the $179 classes would be discounted by 20 percent to $143, so your total cost would be $465.)
